We produce educational content in both Mandarin Chinese and English, so while everyone speaks English, we are a multicultural and bilingual office!

The Office Manager will be responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining procedures, inventory control, and managing our vendors. We’re looking for an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats, and who relishes the opportunity to make an office run like a well-oiled machine!

Job Duties:

  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
  • Collaborate with different departments on projects to help streamline processes
  • Need find, evaluate, and collaborate frequently with contractors, such as electricians, janitors, moving companies, sign installation etc
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Responsible for developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operational procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Bring a friendly and welcoming presence in the office
  • Be able to handle basic bookkeeping functions, collect receipts, handle accounts payable, and collaborate with our Accounting department
  • Able to organize and book domestic and international travel for employees
  • Microsoft Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
  • Enjoy and be motivated to keep the office clean, organized, and well stocked with supplies.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and stay highly organized across multiple projects
